November Blessings (Day 3)

November 3rd Blessing: My Family of Five

We had the opportunity to walk Centennial Park with a photographer on Sunday.  The kids were wild:  L ran from one tree to the next, O refused to smile, and E was distracted by everything and rarely look at the camera, but the weather was cool and crisp, and the time together was great.  I am so in love with my husband and our three kids.

These are the few photos I snapped before the photographer arrived.  The real photos should be ready in a couple weeks.

November 2nd Blessing: The Beautiful Fall Scene from my Front Door

This is the view from my front porch.  I literally smile every single time I see all of the leaves God has painted in our yard.  It's absolutely beautiful.

November Blessings (Day 1)

November 1st Blessing: Trick-or-Treating with my three.

Thanks to severe weather on Halloween, we were able to trick-or-treat on Friday, November 1st.  In years passed, I've always stayed behind to hand out candy, but this year we went to my parents house and I followed the kids around (while my brother stayed to hand out candy).  It was so much fun following the kids around and reminding them to say, "trick-or-treat" and then, "thank you."  I was even able to get O to sign "thank you" as he was leaving each door.  I am one blessed mama!

The Halloween Season

One of the perks of living in the Bible Belt is that, in addition to the normal school parties and trick-or-treating, there are opportunities on every corner for Trunk-or-treats and Fall Festivals at area churches.  The kids had so many different Halloween activities this year that it was hard to even keep track of them all.  Here are some of the highlights (and the reason I've neglected to blog lately).

Halloween was stormy, so instead of trick-or-treating in our neighborhood, I took the kids to Publix for a little bit of trick-or-treating there.  We grabbed a pizza on our way home, and then enjoyed the rainy evening inside carving our pumpkin.

Two!!

Two years ago, I met my blue-eyed boy for the very first time!

He has certainly completed our family and I can not imagine life without him.  It's hard to believe he's been cracking us up for two whole years!!

So, Happy Birthday big guy! I look forward to learning more and more about you as the years pass by (SLOWLY!!).
